Why did khan come to war the following round after the KO? Why didn't he box that rd waiting to recover ? Did Roach instruct him to try to KO Garcia or was his pride and stubbornness ? Im just relaxing home watching some fights and this got my attention.
Khan is a ****ing Moron. The only reason both the Maidana and Peterson fights were so close was because of that idiots ego. He gets hurt and then he just covers up, takes punches(while standing still, mostly against the ropes) and tries to act though afterwards. Instead of just taking punches he should have been moving. Against Garcia he was just outgunned. No matter what he did he (Khan) got tagged with power shots. Garcia countered him in every round with hard left hooks (similar that produced the KD) or with hard shots to the body.
When Khan has no answers, he's easily drawn into a gun fight. And that's what happened. He knew he was ****ed, and he felt that he didn't have the legs (his main form of defence) to run and survive. So he thought: if I'm gonna' go, I may as well go out on my shield.
He was taking Garcia to school until got tagged by hat hook. Against Maidana he managed to stay alive until got back to his feet.
He was handling Garcia before getting caught with a lucky blind shot And honestly he wasn't going to recover from that shot
