I never noticed any lowblows being talked about either but some people have mentioned them today

Nobody likes to admit they're wrong. Look at the Mayweather/Hatton fight. Hatton lost just about every round and was knocked out. After the fight, look how many people had the nerve to complain about the ref. They complained because the ref didn't allow Ricky foul and cheat on the inside. Now in this fight, Kessler lost just about every round and now people are complaining that the ref allowed Ward to fight dirty, and Kessler is complaining that there was too much in fighting allowed. The refs very rarely affect the outcome of the fight. Kessler got beat up, plain and simple. The ref had very little to do with the outcome.

 

yea, it tends to look that way when you have short arms like ward, they were punches buddy. sorry to break it to you.

 

The interesting thing to me is that they have generally left out the most borderline illegal thing Ward was doing. He kept sticking out his jab and holding it there. I think he could have been deducted for that way before all of this phantom intentional butting and holding that people are throwing around.

But instead of bringing up a criticism that is valid and actually defensible, they are just spewing nonsense about Ward being "dirty".

i didn't wanna say it, but europeans are definitely the biggest cry babies when their favorite fighter gets his ass kicked, they're like klitschko fanatics with coming up with all these excuses. never have i seen a european admit when their boy got exposed, its always "the ref was payed off", or "he's got home field advantage". what happened to the good ol days when people admit that the other fighter was just better?

 

People are just crying because their boy got a an ass whooping and are not acknowledging Ward's performance. Ward is now number 1 SMW, he dominated the previous no1 from start to finnish, the same guy who went to a 7-5 decision against a top3 P4Per

 

So a guy complains when he is intentionally headbutted FIVE F*CKING TIMES and his face gets split open and he's a 'sore loser'?

When was the last time a fighter got full credit for a win here on ESB?

You have to probably go back a long time.

Ward put on a clinic last night and deserves all the credit for that.
