i agree with what you're saying but the problem is this is by far joe's best win. it's the only win that's going to stand out from a historical standpoint and he looked like crap. yes, hopkins plays the spoiler and makes fights look bad but this is not a win you want to hang your career on. taylor and dawson also beat hopkins post 40. even pascal got a draw in one fight. just something to consider when talking about joe's win over bhop.

lol the irony of you saying anyone has an agenda. comedy . It was a close fight. But the bottom line is that Hopkins will always be ranked higher than Calzaghe regardless of whatever outcome people perceived in that fight.

joe is not clearly in the top 100. that's a disgrace to the great fighters in the sport's history. imo, joe has more to prove than any fighter who's ever made the hall. joe h2h is impossible to rate because of his horrible resume.

so Joe fought nobodies, but Hopkins fought only the best??? :rofl

the fight was on American soil. that's Bernard's home, not Joe's.

how many Joe fans do you actually think went over there?? are you saying he was close to what Hatton used to take over??? Bull****!!

there were more Americans than Brits that night. :deal

I really do believe Kessler was a better win. However, you may be right down the road because Hopkins keeps winning. You also have to take into account that Taylor beat Hopkins at MW, not LHW. Where in my opinion, Hopkins was much more effective regarding his age. He couldn't make MW anymore, at a world class level at least? Just my two cents.

yes i am. but what the hell has that got to do with it??

i suppose you're Black?? so you're doing what you're accusing me of because Bernard is Black also.

so, clearly you're not the brightest are you? :-(

I agree , and its clear bull**** that fighting nobodies is better than fighting the elite.

Bernards biggest win is plain and simple over a fat chinny welter.

dude, i was at the f'ing fight. there was 12,000 fans at the fight and 98% of them were welshmen. it was obvious. it's comical you would say this.

i love how your response in defending joe's resume is to put down bhop's.

no foreign fighter should feel confident when fighting in America. even if they knock them out. :yep

remember Martinez and the American backed Cintron?? well, Martinez knocked him out for the ten count only for it to be called an illegal shot. he then won clearly on the cards, only to get a draw. madness.

foreign fighters have a history of getting ripped off in America regardless of how clearly they win the fight. America stinks to high heaven with corruption. has been for years. and it will continue like that as well.

yes, not fair like they are in the uk. here's a little history lesson for you. cheating in your country has been going on for over 200 years. here's an article written by one of your own papers.

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...ineaux-cheated-British-heavyweight-title.html

btw, cintron is puerto rican. you should have used lennox vs evander for an example. that decision was disgusting.

ah, but Dawson and Taylor don't have much to shout about outside of Bernard. Joe has plenty more on his record outside of that win. so it isn't the same.

regardless of how Joe looked, he still won the fight.

you forget to mention Hopkins looking even worse. and he lost.
