Have heard this fight come up in a few threads recently, mostly in regards to Mayweather's retirement.

So, just for arguments sake, I wan't to know who thought who won?

Going over old turf I know, but I'm tired of talking about the Pavlik-Joe C-RJJ circus.

For what it is worth I think Castillo took enough rounds to win.

Most people voting havent even seen the fight, Mayweather cake walked the first 4-5 rounds and won another 2-3 rounds. Theres no way when you consider those facts that Castillo can win on a round by round basis. End of Thread

It's not that the fights with Castillo and DLH were judged incorrectly - it's that certain kinds of judges are going to favor Mayweather in fights like these. I think he did enough to win all three of these fights albeit squeaking out a one point win in the first Castillo fight.

I had castillo winning it. I still have the fight on my old laptop to watch every now and then. I am going to be honest, it is a tough fight to score. I could see someone scoring it a draw. Castillo just put on too much pressure for the whole 12 rounds.

I thought Castillo clearly won, and was convinced he would win again, but Floyd schooled him in the rematch.

I was very dissapointed with this decision as I thought Castillo won clearly. The judges in this fight don't know how to score and seem to forget that body shots are scoring blows (especially when they are breaking ribs). Castillo was not given proper credit for all of the excellent work that he did donwstairs.

Floyd won the first 5 rounds in all three judge's score card. I gave Floyd the first five as well with 3 swing rounds. Castillo came on strong late but 1 round does not worth more than the other.

People who says that castillo clearly won, obviously didn't watch the whole fight and just saw the last few rounds.

I had Castillo winning by 2 I think but I admit I gave a lot of rounds even. Will have to watch it again because it's a hard fight to score especially in youtube quality.

116-111 ... Floyd swept the last 4 rounds of the fight ... was fighting effectively on the inside and constantly blocking Castillo's shots and beating him to the punch.

So others are saying the first 4-5 rounds went to Mayweather. You're saying the last 4 went to him. So at least 9-3 for Mayweather? Something's wrong here, I thought it was a close fight... :huh
