Yeah Sherk just clearly beat one of the top rising Lightweight contenders in the entire World. Hes boxing has improved drastically so how the **** is he finished ? Hes better then ever. Beebs that guy is so dumb its just sad.
Angle is better than Nog in transitions on the floor, Nog will be better in finishing fights because wrestlers dont use chokes and holds against the joints, and i have never seen angle take a punch. and yes i did say Sherk is finished.
Has Angle had an MMA fight ? How do you know what he do there ? He has probablly never trained a day in Jiu-Jitsu as he has spent the last 10 years on the road traveling from state to state everynight, getting addicted to painkillers and has had 3 neck surgerys not to mention hes 40. Kurt Angle trying MMA at this point was be sucide. Humor me bro what is so finished about Sean Sherk aside from the BJ Penn lost hes had the majority of his best performences and wins in the last 3 years ala Nick Diaz,Hermes Franca,Tyson Griffin,Kenny Florian.
this thread is suppose to be about Rampage and Griffin :nut :nut :nut. anyhow, i never said Angle would be good at MMA i said that a former Olympic gold medalist in Wrestling will be better than Nog is some aspects of the ground game, i.e. transitions, escaping and Wrestling holds. i am not saying Sherk is a bad fighter and i am not taking anything away from him he is a good fighter, what i am saying is at 35 or however old he is he wont challenge GSP or BJ Penn, he will always be a conternder but i dont think he is a natural lightweight and if he doesnt get good matches i question for how long will continue to fight.
Well man theres also BJ and GSP there arent many like them so if BJ where to leave 155 Sherk has it made for the time being remembers he only lost 3 times to the very very elite guys at the time GSP,Penn,Hughes.
i know Sherk is a good fighter and has only been beaten by the best, but when Sherk lost to Penn was beaten, i dont think he expects to fight foe the title again, i think he wants one fight against Hughes then he will retire.
