Lewis clearly won the first fight, it wasn't even close, I had Holyfield only winning 3 rounds and it was not a difficult fight to score, Lewis dominated most of the rounds. The second fight was closer as Lewis was forcing the fight and was looking for the KO to avoid being robbed again. I had Lewis winning 7 rounds to 5, it was not hard to score, Lewis won a close but clear fight.
Yes, just look at just look at his body in his prime, he was ripped from front to back like a horse, a featherweights speed, one punch KO power, all the signs are were there for Roy, the failed test was the icing on the cake
That's the same for me. I've watched the 2nd fight and had probably 10 different debates on different threads over the years and those who said Holyfield won, couldn't provide a round by round breakdown. Funny because it was a pretty easy fight to score. I had it 8-4 Lewis but if I try and give Holyfield the benefit of the doubt on the few close rounds that there were, I get to 7-5 Lewis. Can't get any closer than that. Going one step further, many have used this fight to suggest Holyfield would beat Lewis in his prime. But regarding of whether or not he would I don't really understand how you can just use one of the two fights they had to justify this. And if you tally the 'real' score from the two fights it' either 9+8 = 17 rounds for Lewis or 9+7 = 16 rounds for Lewis out of a total of 24 rounds, so this logic makes no sense whatsoever.
