When I think of Joe Cortez being such a bad ref and he deserves the **** that comes his way...I pause and say to myself..at least Hes not Richard Steele

I would prefer a ref that stops a fight a tad early, than one that is biased the whole fight. Ruddock got rocked bad and he went wobbley...poor stoppage but not terrible.

Cortez blows harder. He used to be better.

Razor Ruddock is one of the shittest boxers of all-time.

    1. He could not throw straight Pucnhes
    2. He could not move
    3. And he had no Jab..
He fought Mike Tyson like a complete poorly talented fighter, with no Jab or any straight punches, and inside the pocket.."what a stupid thing to do". Fair enough Razor Ruddock could bang abit, but let's face facts..thats all he could do.

hey, i dont think anyone would say he was a great fighter.....he just had the mentality to have two great fights with mikey.....look what lewis did to him...or even morison.....how did he take those bombs from tyson and end up with such a shakey chin.....

Actually, if you look at early fights in his career and sparring, you will notice that he was actually a good all around fighter with a very good jab. The trouble came when he developed "The Smash." After creating this fight, he became a one trick pony.

Check the postfight interviews for both fights. Big respect between the two.
