Rewarding ineffective aggression over clean punching, ring generalship and defense?

Some people like to pretend that this character above beat Helenius due to ineffective aggression despite Helenius with one arm gutting it out and beating the **** out of derrick and landing all the cleaner punches. Not once in the fight did Derrick manage to hurt Helenius, rock him or even give him a mark on his face.

Landing meaningful brutal shots. Not winged feather fisted blocked 'punches' that Derrick threw.

Note the difference when Derrick is apparently 'dominating' the fight. You can't win fights by ineffective aggression. There is no such rule.
