Whoa dude, if I were you, I'd bail out of this thread NOW. If I understood you correctly once more, you're implying that Cunningham's tactics do not count as "boxing"? Only toe-to-toe fighting does? Was it really YOU who suggested I should rather watch MMA? You're so dumb it's unreal.

Boxing is an art, it's about negating your opponents strengths and targeting his weaknesses within your own abilities and doing what you need to do to win. It's not about ****ing throw bombs and come forward at all costs FFS!

    Reread how that was phrased.

    You underrate the jab.

Fights can be won on jabs alone.

    Ask Larry & Ike.

Unless you link a Wikipedia page for either, I'm pretty sure bremen has no idea who he has to ask.

    I agree.

This is another problem I have with CompuBox power punches ( anything outside a jab.) Ike Quartey's jab is harder that most fighters right hands yet it would not be classed as a power punch on CompuBox. Cunningham jab was stopping Adamek from advancing and he would often step into the jab and thus there was power behind it.

Actually, I agree with you, but TS and his cronies seem to think that cuts are deciding factor when it suits their agenda.

Probably unreal is the right comment there. I wish you had a better grasp of the written word so we could have an intelligent conversation about this. But insults are too juvenile for me. Sorry,

How about you break down the Froch vs Dirrell fight ?

Do not place Adamek-Cunningham and Adamek-Chambers into the same category. Adamek beat Chambers clearly but Cunningham outpointed him.

Why do that?? IB and Faerun only cry when Adamek is involved.

How about we do the same for Roy vs Glazewski:hey..no outrage over that one:deal

There was no clear win for Adamek over Chambers. I thought Chambers won. Can't remember how I scored it, but it was closer than this fight. The crazy wide card or cards were what really stunk the joint up.

I don't know why Froch-Dirrell is relevant, or comparable. Dirrell was on his pony, but still landing the better shots of the relative few that were landed in that fight. While Froch was like a bull trying to get the matador, and missing badly. Dirrell fought equally poorly, and his tactics were abysmal enough as to make the fight almost unwatchable. Still, I scored it for Dirrell because he clearly did the better work with the gloves.

Adamek-Cunningham had the element of Cunningham's jab that Adamek constantly ate as he tried to come in. Cunningham fought a better fight than his opponent, a bigger opponent at that, and outfoxed, outmaneuvered and ultimately outlanded Adamek.
