Its abundantly clear, James was always going to tear his ass up.

Angulo might be done as a top fighter, a rematch with Kirkland might end his career.

Yeah. Would not be at all surprised if he looks like "damaged goods" from now on. Or at least for a while. Kind of like Margarito.

Surely though, he will make a quick comeback, against some punching bag, but it will be an illusion.

He could be done. Took a lot of punishment. Surely much more than he ever has, or expected too.

What I want to know is WTF was the deal with those judges and their off balance score cards...

Angulo should fire his coaching staff... how can you let your fighter take a beating like that?

    Pre-prison, and way back when.

It wouldn't have mattered, James was always going to dog him out.

aren't you tired of being wrong you ****ing idiot. He aint saying that "we all should of known".. He is saying that kirkland got el perro's number. Even in the first rd before the big punch dropped kirkland he was in his ass. El perro is SLOW as **** even from the start. If anything that right hand counter was his only shot to win.

I've already rewatched the first round about 20 times. It's that good.

FOTY, what a great fight. Both guys showed a lot of heart and guts, and Kirkland proved a lot of people wrong (including me).

    :deal

If anyone look closely, Kirkland, even in going down, always had his eyes on Angulo. Angulo wasn't going to win that night and Kirkland was making sure of it.

How the judges had it so close, is a ****ing disgrace.

It's amazing how people flip-flop after fights like this. Before, 9/10 people picked Angulo. Now people are saying Kirkland wins 10 times out of 10.

    :-(

I stayed away from this one, had a feeling James was a bad man, I mean.. he did fly out there, it speaks of confidence and balls.

Hindsight is a *****, but we can all conclude El Perro lost but one second of that fight, and that second was his right hand which he landed. Kirkland was in his ass from the get go.

    oh how fickle people are.
I mean before last night he was a glass jawed fraud that angulo would pummle and ko with a jab. now he is sone ferocious monster.
why not take him, and this fight, for what it is. a b level fighter. can deliver some huge punishment. sucker for short straight shots but damn exciting
