LOL this wasn't a "translation". He said in english that Canelo has good power, and he said that several times. If he said something different in Russian, it doesn't change what he said in english. Someone "helped" him say Canelo has good power? Get out of here. HE said that.

Trust the art, not the artist words. Bivol didn't move his guard one ****ing inch. He ate those shots on the guard.

The question wasn't if the punch was blocked or not, the question was does Canelo punch hard. The loud thud indicates he punches hard. That's part of the "art". Not me saying it landed with a loud thud, but you hearing the sound of that punch. That's why I posted the clip, so you can hear it for yourself, so you don't have to take my word for it.

The only things you need to pay attention to is your psychiatrist and to remember to take your antipsychotics everyday. I don't need to read your desperation fanboy spin drivel essay or watch your videos when I already watched Bivol school that stumpy ginger toad without even having to move out of second gear for the vast majority of the fight about half a dozen times.

Oh dear, you must have watched a different fight than I did. But that's a common program it seems. For me Canelo Bivol was far more competitive and fun to watch than Canelo GGG 3, but the judges saw both of those fights close so there's that. There are those who saw Canelo GGG 3 as close as well, and while I disagree pretty strongly, I'm not going to tell them to take their antipsychotics becuase they saw a fight different than me lol.

We're not gonna agree on everything. I don't know if Canelo makes you feel a certain way, but I'm just here to talk boxing and give my take. If you wanna call it a schooling go ahead. What happened happened and there's footage showing what Canelo was able to do. But make no mistake about it, I was very impressed with Bivol so I'm not arguing really anything that crazy here. He won that fight hands down, if we differ on the margin of victory or how easy it was for Bivol, so what. It's nothing to get all worked up about.

I watched exactly the same fight as you

I'm not worked up I just know I'm talking to a ginger stalker mentalist spin merchant

I've always rated Clenelo you non-hetero ginger loving donkey

But Bivol schooled his ass whilst stuck in second gear

Well that's a lot of name calling for someone who isn't worked up.

A "non-hetero ginger loving donkey"?? :yikes:

    Have I struck a chord?

You wanna play the he was only in 2nd gear card. Lemme guess GGG didn't get out of 1st gear last month, because beating Canelo was so easy for GGG he decided not to even try and lost an uncompetitive lopsided UD in the process?

The thing with Bivol is, how many gears does he actually have? Yes he has better cardio than Canelo, no arguments there. Yes he has a better work rate than Canelo. But Canelo is a more elusive fighter and a more dynamic puncher. Bivol is great at what he does, throw a lot of jabs and straights, cover up, rinse and repeat. It was enough to win a UD on the "stumpy ginger toad":qmeparto: but in my humble opinion wasn't as one-sided as you're making it out to be. But that's OK, we have a difference of opinion. No point in arguing with you about it.

But with you taking this stance, if a rematch does come about, then it doesn't sound like you would give Canelo a chance in hell in winning. A determined Canelo I think would be able to pace himself better, tighten up his gas tank and win more rounds. But look, I want to see Bivol fight Beterbiev first, still I think before all is said and done we'll see the rematch and it will be very interesting to see who's perspective on this was closer to reality.

Canelo has good punching power at LHW, though he's no Beterbiev. A luck of punching power isn't Canelo's problem. It's simply that he can't carry that weight on his frame over 12 rounds.

If we're going to talk about his fight with Kovalev - Krusher was having serious trouble getting down to LHW by the time he fought Ward for the second time. He looked drained by the time Canelo caught up with him and stopped him.

Yup, just like I said earlier; Canelo is loading up on every shot he throws. He has the same MO at 168lbs now too.

I don't think he will ever be the fluid and dynamic counter puncher we saw from 2015-2018 ever again.

Best Canelo performance ever was against Chavez. He was 10/10 that night.

Best Canelo was Chavez Jr. That was his absolute peak. Runner up best for me was GGG 1, Jacobs, Saunders, or maybe way back vs Trout. He was top of his game for a long time, but his absolute peak was certainly Chavez Jr. That was just a flawless performance.

I agree. Worth pointing out, though, that it would be harder to choose a more stupid strategy against Beterbiev than the "I'll plant my feet and head hunt him at close range" strategy that Joe Smith Jr employed.

An elite stick-and-move fighter might be able to beat Beterbiev. Good luck finding one with a good enough gas tank for 12 rounds or one willing to take up the challenge.
