I need to rewatch both fights because I’ll admit, I was a canelo fan boy when i first watched it and was mainly focused on what he was doing

I made Golovkin winner by 8 - 4 in both fights, despite Alvarez’s “additives “ and questionable judging.
It’s a real shame that Alvarez can’t be taken seriously in any discussion of how good he is, with these irrefutable charges hanging over him.

Personally, I thought GGG won the first fight and Canelo won the second fight. I need to watch the 2nd Canelo fight again, because I recall him dominating GGG. But people tell me GGG out boxed him in both fights, so it's interesting for sure.

GGG by a mile in fight one

GGG closer in fight 2..people gave Alvarez rounds cos he went forward when he wasn't expected to...he fought a great fight...he made golovkin dig into his toolbox..the jab won the day..but **** me Alvarez slick ass counterpunching was beautiful to watch

Canelo will probably legitimately win a third fight with GGG who is clearly not an unbeatable monster. But none of this takes away from the fact that GGG clearly won their first fight and could have easily gotten a draw or a win in their second.

No one is undefeatable and Canelo definitely is beatable not less than GGG.
The problem is that Canelo was protected hometown A side fighter in his country vs GGG in both fights. GGG = away corner B side guy.
    GGG now also is old.

Canelo has only gotten better since the fights, while Golovkin has declined.

It will be a 7-5 or 8-4 kind of fight for Canelo but the scorecards will be 120-108.

this could be fair (more to canelo tho) but ggg is clearly the greater fighter and still a pick em fight right now

Why do you guys keep telling yourselves such nonsense? Its weird.

GGG had a close fight he arguably won or lost against a fighter fighting his first fight at 160, then in the rematch he took the biggest beating of his entire career in Canelo's second fight at the full MW limit.

Now that Canelo has acclimated at fighting above 154 and 155 and is in his absolute prime, there is no way GGG beats him. If there is a rubbermatch Canelo is going to dominate every round imo.

And no, GGG is not a greater fighter. Canelo is more versatile using different fighting styles effectively, has more accolades, has taken greater risks, has gave up advantages many times and prevailed, and has done greater things than GGG.

The ONLY things Canelo has that GGG doesn't are
1.. A State commission that backs him all the way both legally & illegally
2.. Vegas boxing officials that are either crooked, totally biased or unfit for the job You choose I know what I think.
3... He is a proven & "punished" lol Peds abuser Even the NSAC couldn't give him a pass on that when he was caught red handed.
4... He has NEVER fought in Vegas without having every advantage over his opponents both legal & illegal. His C/W BS is ludicrous . The way he goes up & down in weight is impossible to achieve Legally
He has NEVER LEGITIMATELY beaten GGG he just got "Vegas decisions" as the fans call them
When you claim Canelo gave GGG "The beating of a lifetime" in the rematch only proves YDKSAB Canelo got his ears boxed off & lost 117-111 in reality
Bottom line is You support a Ped's abusing cowardly Diva
    End of Story
