The fight has convinced me that Joe Calzaghe is some sort of racist; maybe a member of the BNP or KKK, possibly a descendent of Hitler. I mean I got 12 rounds of HARD evidence to back up what I'm saying!
Hindsight going in - that is a beautiful oxymoron! It is arguable. Lacy was the undefeated Olympian going in, he was a champion! Did you see what he did to Robin Reid! Reid troubled Calzaghe, Lacy molested him! The unstoppable powerhouse against the man who had avoided real challenges for eight years!
I mean foresight. In hindsight I still refuse to bash Lacy. He was a pretty good fighter and a very good win for Joe.
did everyones favourite black supremacist jack 'white boy' prescott ever give his opinion on this fight?
so Calzaghe's a racist because he beat up a black man in a boxing match? you should keep shitty thoughts like that from the public eye for real...
I always thought Lacy got far too much hate for the Calzaghe fight. I think 98% of it is because the fans who picked him to KO Calzaghe early were so embarrassed at the outcome, it was easier to turn coat on Lacy than to just say that Calzaghe fought the perfect fight. Lacy showed a ton of toughness- I know Joe's power isn't what it was, but Lacy was cut over both eyes and a swollen mess by the end of it. The way everyone treated him like garbage afterwards was bull****. I give him props for going 12, even if his trainer should've pulled him out sooner. I hope Jeff can come back healthy and make some noise in the division.
Speed Stamina Angles Power Skill Ring Generalship Elusiveness Footwork Chin Aggression Excitement It was awe-inspiring, nothing comes cloth this decade inspite of Lac being a slightly inferior opponent -fullstop- It was close to boxing perfection, Winky, Hopkins, Mayweather never displayed so much in one package - though Mayweather was the closest -fullstop-
