This fight is important because it was the last time Cotto looked good on the big stage against a boxer puncher. This is also the closes fighter that Mosley has fought that can be compared to Alvarez. Rewatched Cotto vs Mosley and I realized that they both look good with 8 oz gloves. I don't believe Cotto will be able hurt Mayweather with 10oz gloves, and I don't believe Mosley will be able to compete with Alvarez in 10oz gloves I think the Mosley that lost to Cotto would lose to Alvarez today at 154. Those gloves sure do make a difference. Add the fact that Mosley now has this jittery **** he does. I know see Mosley has no shot what so ever.
