Its on dailymotion here's my thoughts on it; David Haye - Strengths Boxed beautifully off the backfoot for the first 2 rounds, controlled the fight with excellent footwork. Keeps a low left hand and uses quick reflexes to avoid shots, something that its hard to get away with at world-class level unless you are very talented. Vicious bodyshots that really drained Mormeck of his momentum. Power, the power is there from the start, and the finish is brutal. Also showed good recovery skills and heart to get up from the deck and win by KO. Haye's bravery and heart has been tested all throughout his career and is not in question. David Haye - Weaknesses Is vulnnerable to a right hand, especially from someone who can time it to land over the low-left. He keeps his chin tucked in and right-hand up to avoid jabs, but if someone has a long reach and is good enough to land a jab then throw a right-hand off it, Haye can get hit and hurt. Gets too cocky in the ring, throwing right hand leads and trying to fight like Roy Jones Jnr. Also, Haye really struggles at cruiserweight and is not suited to the weight. He was massive compared to jean-marc mormeck. No doubt his chin, balance and stamina will improve at heavyweight. Jean Marc-Mormeck A very good fighter who would probably beat most of the top 10 in the cruiserweight division. Probably past his best now. He was dangerous coming forward, he applied pressure and hurt Haye on a few occasions. He also has a great defence, and constant head movement, making it very hard for people to hold him off with a jab as he charges inside. On the inside he is hard hitting, quick and brutal. He throws lots of hooks with mean intentions. Toe-to-toe Jean Marc Mormeck is as dangerous as a heavyweight. Final Thoughts & Enzo Maccarinelli David Haye should get some quality sparring in the USA against other world class fighters. He has great talent and is the full package. His only weakness is his chin and low-left hand, but he's managed to get pretty far considering. He is a potential superstar and is more exciting than most of the heavyweight division. His speed and skill will give the top heavyweights, especially the slow old fat *******s, nightmares. Enzo Maccarinelli is a good fighter and has a better chance than many are suggesting. He has fast hands which could pose Haye problems. He also has big KO power. He is inexperienced at world-class level and has never fought anyone as powerful and dangerous as Haye, which will give him a disadvantage. Haye has been in with quality, he has been up against adversity and gained his experience, whereas Enzo Mac has not been in with such great opposition. He has never looked special, like David Haye has. although it must be noted that he has improved from being the one-dimensional banger he used to be. Enzo will make a good fight of it, come forward behind a good jab, and have some success with Haye. But Haye is skillful and will start to land with powerful shots after a few rounds of figuring out. Once Mac gets hit with that power I predict he'll not react well, panic a little bit and forget his gameplan. He'll start trading with Haye, and although he has a punchers chance as long he's on his feet, but in a war I pick David Haye to prevail by KO. David Haye has been in wars, and has been in life-or-death battles, and that experience gives him the edge. He may touch the canvas on his way to victory, but I expect Haye to win.
This is a good action fight, I'm gonna pick Haye by 7th round stoppage. Either way though it should be said that Andrew Golota would KO both men in the first round....just by looking at them.
I never thought David haye fought well on the back foot, but he proved me quite wrong! feel like David haye has got something there to change the heavy weight division! he has got some remarkable skills, n he is a got some deadly accurate power punchs. , his defence is lacking but hey he is still young 27 n got some learning to do yet
