Originally I had it 10 rounds to 2 floyd, re watching it I got 11 rounds to 1 Floyd.

The only dominant round I could 100% give to cotto was round 8, a round that floyd obviously took off to gain energy to close the show from then on (which he did)

I watched some of the "close" rounds in slow motion, I would have to say about 99% of cottos "work" was being easily blocked by floyd. The entire fight I saw roughly 5 CLEAN landed punches from cotto, compared to probably 75+ from floyd.

Not even remotely close of a fight, btw in rd 10 cotto almost got hatton'd into the corner. Also in round 12 cotto got caught with an uppercut and fell on floyd, only thing keeping him up was floyd.

For me it feels like if anyone has any remotley success against mayweather they throw away everything he has done in the round due to his unbeaten record. Many people can give 1 jab a whole lot more props then say 4-5 jabs from mayweather.

I doubt count punches that land on arms, shoulders and gloves as scoring. I don't count aggressively moving forward but while getting lit up by combinations as "ring generalship"

I guess I'm just too old school, normally you gotta actually land a punch to get credit

Hmmm...not a bad idea to rewatch the fight. I had given Cotto 4 rounds watching it live. And there was a close round that could of gone either way.

Could of been my bias for Cotto that clouded my eyes, so I'll watch again as well before I start giving my two cents on the scoring. But Floyd did win no contraversy.
