bull****, the headbut was on the opposite side of his face as the busted eye. the busted eye was from all the counter left hooks. lucas hit danny with shots that would have knocked anyone else out, look at round 1, danny got rocked and kept his composure. just give danny his props he busted his opponent up, knocked him down and hurt him which is more than what i can say for what mayweather did to canelo.

Mares landed three times as many low blows AND a super shady potentially illegal knockdown against Moreno and he was celebrated for that narrow victory with few mentions of low blows tainting the victory.

Once again, Garcia landed one third of the low blows Mares did in the Moreno fight, let alone the Agbeko fight.

you guys are in such denial, liek OMFG...Lucas lost fair in square to the better man..he got out box ALL night...i actually was cheering for Lucas because i had money on him and I agreed that the lucas lost that fight...nothing dirty or anything about it except a few low blows..get over it, there are numerous times in other matches that the ref stopped the match to have the mouth piece put back in...geeze, move on, i certainly did after i lost $$

 

i watched it again without the emotion of it all to get an accurate scoring of the fight (i always do this) and i had Matthysse by 3 points. 6-4 and 2 even. Lucas got the extra point because of the low blow.

IMO, Lucas was ripped off.

Danny got points for 2 reasons... 1) for keeping his shape at all times. this gives the impression that they're doing better than they are. 2) for not getting blown away like everyone was anticipating. just because Lucas didn't do as well as people thought he would, you don't give extra points to the other guy

Lucas landed the most punches. people need to watch again if they don't believe me. Danny didn't win that fight.

there wasn't as many low blows as some are saying though. late on there was a few, but nothing to really cry about. plus, Danny did get a point taken for it late on.

no, my gripe was the holding that Danny was allowed to get away with. especially the last few rounds. the ref should have gave him a warning and threatened to take points if he didn't listen.

and the other one was when the gum shield went flying from a shot from Lucas. you wait for a lull in the action, that's what you're supposed to do. not jump in straight away to protect the guy. ****ing criminal.

Theopane got ripped off in his fight as well. he won by 2 points on my card. but due to people having Gold fish memories, they give the round to the guy that lands the punch that troubles their opponent. even when the other guy has landed far more punches.
it's just sensationalism. nothing more, nothing less.

and what the **** was that draw card for the Floyd fight!? he dominated Canelo.
