Canelo looked good for the early rounds. But as the fight went on the different in size and strength was evident. Golovkin was pressuring Canelo. Clenelo didn't look natural he looked big and strong early but as the rounds went by. I started to see who truely is the bigger guy and natural middle weight. GOLOVKIN!

Yes that’s true enough, boxing to a points win is very amicable and all that but I remember saying before that first fight that only a Rosado type beat down would earn Golovkin a win on points.
Whilst Golovkin won a close fight in most folks eyes, his performance was very underwhelming imo and a draw wasn’t unfair on either.
No doubt he will need land a lot more power punches this time as he couldn’t land that right hand or the left on the night due to him rushing in my view.

What do you think Canelo is more a light middleweight at 154?I mean be that as it may in the fight prior to Golovkin he was competing at 164 pounds.
I’ll be honest I never really understand this weight class business half the time as Canelo probably walks around as heavy if not heavier than Golovkin.
That said Golovkin the natural Middleweight who’s fought there all his career is used to fight bigger guys than himself and whatever extra power they possess.

Just my observation that's all. That's when you can really the size difference start to be a factor and noticeable as the rounds go by. You can see Canelo looking a bit smaller and weaker of the two from round 5 onwards.Golovkin walked him down and backed him up with ease. The only advantage Clenelo has is his defense, footwork and speed to get out of harm and move.

In the end I bet it will turn out that drenlou was supplying Canelo with the dirty cows.

This fight is not going the distance. There's a reason Chef Oscar has barely promoted the rescheduled rematch. He's trying to make sure Golovkin doesn't become a star after he wins this time.

Yes that’s a fair comment which is why I’m puzzled by how many on here go on about how Canelo this time knocks GGG out when in reality most of his fights went twelve rounds and even when he had such a size advantage like against Cotto he never looked like knocking him out and perhaps the really telling one was against a weakened Chavez jnr who when beckoned on by Canelo to have a go back he ha down nothing there, still Chavez survived 12 rounds.
Nothing’s impossible of course but Golovkin seems to know what he can take which is why he was careful against Jacobs and Lemieux.if Golovkin now feels Canelos punches can’t hurt him it could be a long night for Canelo who I expect will fight the same way.

Defense, Footwork, Speed, timing, combination punching, body attack, reflexes.

A more acclimated Canelo is going to win a clear decision possibly retire GGG.

And don't be shocked GGG fans when Canelo rehydrates after the weigh-in and looks his normal self come fight night. But by that time there won't be time to comment on it since they'll be plenty of other things to talk about.

Canelo was on the juice in the first fight. Maybe even before. It is irrefutable. Canelo does seem like the kind of person to cheat and then get pissed off when he is caught, which did happen.

If he was on the juice for the first fight, then how did he pass all those random VADA tests?

you mean the useless 8 week tests before the first fight? I heard they started earlier for the rematch, I wonder what happened that time...

How do you get much smaller by losing muscle but have the same weight?
