Rewatched Haye vs Valuev

i dont know about the speed but it is just hard to get past the length of the jab knowing that if you fail you are going to get clocked by the overhand right.

chris byrd also commented on the sheer strength of wk in addition to his jab.

kudos to shields for stopping the fight. he knew brewster had no shot and that he was too much of a warrior to quit and would unnecessarily go out on his back.

no reason to leave part of yourself in the ring when you have absolutely no chance of winning.

 

Watch again and be mindful of the broken right hand that Haye suffered early in the fight (3rd?) and you'll notice a change of strategy that he had to make after he broke his hand on Nickys caveman like skull.

He was much more aggressive prior to that, looking to move around the ring and then come in for hard shots, the 12th round shows that this strategy would have worked and probably resulted in a stoppage.

Rewatched "Haye vs Valuev"...hmmm, can I ask you a question kinda off topic, are you in fact God himself, cause I'm not sure that a human being could stomach a "re watch" of that God awful bull****.
