hey Joe aint the cleanest fighter either, his wild combos sometimes have a habit of landing clean on the back of his opponents head.

The reason why Bernard can control a fight is his ability to lunge in with punches immediately clinching afterwards. If Joe can or wants to combat this then the fight as a specticle wont be as ugly as i think i will.

I dont think it is aye.

But if Warren is readin ESB like he has in the past  he'd be stupid not to make the fight cause there is so much demand for it.

Remember when ESB got warned from Warrens officials about making up stories, I think TCW had something to do with this :lol:

well he is off to a bad start...

37 years old fat middleweight - William Joppy - even for a voluntary defense isn't not good. Only good thing to be said about Joppy is that he is a known opponent in the US - but way way over the hill :(

Oh no I was not defending Deram, I thought he was quoting Kessler
( my bad ) Deram is a chicken who disapered when Kessler lost, I have no respecth for that. If you are a true fan you'll be there all the time,
good or bad. Kessler will be back stronger than ever, he has somthing to proof, and he will :bbb :good

Yep - in 2005-6 - Kessler's first defense after taking the title and defending it down under against mandatory Mundine. Joppy was dropped because people didn't think he was good enough - now he is two years older - 38...

As for who I'd like to see him face - well a real SMW from IBF's top15... (excl. Savania & Haussler)

Brähmer, Andrade, Miranda, Lacy or A. Green. - But I could also accept Tsypko, Mendy, Chanet, Hanshaw, Mkrtchian (guess the announcer would veto him though), Zuniga or Larsen. I think there is better opponents out there - fights that could be made.

Didn't exspect Kessler yet - would be some voluntary defense though... :)

Well Calzaghe isn't exactly known for keeping a high level of opponents ... opponents in 2004: Mkrtchian and Salem ... names like Ashira and Manfredo also jumps out at you ... well Joppy anno 2003/4 would beat all of those, so Joppy would have been a step up at that time ;)

I'd still take Joppy (2003/4) over Mkrtchian - although I agree it would be a close contest.

Sean ,Thomas Tate **** out as well , thats why Calzaghe got Pudwill on his record , Pudwill stepped up on 5 days notice and at leas saved the card but would never hace had a shot at Calzaghe other wise .Regards Josey Wales
