thank you some1 that can see what was really going on. The perception made it seemed worst than it was be4 that cut. Be4 that cut, RJ was very live. He was catchin calzaghe a lot, dudes pay attention to who is landing. Dude was not gettin his ass beat. He was in that fight. Granted after that cut it was over. But be4 that, he was very much in it

*sigh* here we go with this shot business. Again he is shot by HIS OWN STANDARDS. But compared to other boxers he is not.

Michael Jordan when he came back to the Wizards, he was shot by HIS STANDARDS. But dude still at age 40 somethin was averaging 20 odd points a game. Meaning yes he was shot by his standards of puttin up 30 a game, but against other players he was still better than 3/4's of other players.

RJ is shot by his own standards. Dude was very game in that fight be4 the cut

I was upset to see my favorite fighter get cut and receive a beating. Then I thought about it and I realized he gave his all, didn't quit and fought to the end. I think he can beat all of the belt holders except for Dawson and a Calzaghe rematch.

I honestly didn't understand the scoring of the fight I thought it was 116-111, Roy winning 1, 2 and 5. I saw Joe hitting alot of elbows and I don't score slaps, Joe doesn't always slap, he would land big shots but the rest were just fluff meaning compubox didn't mean anything in that fight.

Calzaghe still has speed but his legs are not what they were- B Hop would beat him in a rematch

People make too much of a big deal about how shot Jones was in this fight. I felt he looked solid and fought with a lot of heart, but just could match up with Joe. However, I don't agree that this fight was close. At first it definitely was, but you don't win points for being close in the beginning. It became a clear victory for Calzaghe eventually, and also the kind that doesn't beg for a rematch. You don't see Jones asking for one.

Jones never fought a high volume puncher like Joe or some1 with his stamina. Shame they didn't fight 10 years ago.

He didnt look bad ok but if you compare his performance to the prime RJJ performance then he looks completly shot.
