I originally remembered McCall breaking down crying after the fight was over. Upon rewatching, he broke down crying after round 4 and the scum bags sent him out to fight round 5. F everyone involved in making that decision.
No doubt. Poor McCall was a basket case that night. He wasn't even throwing punches back and had his hands at his side. Yet Lewis was still extremely tentative. Lewis even admitted in the post fight interview that he was wary that McCall was setting a "trap' for him.
To be fair, watch the McCall-Holmes and McCall-Bruno fights. He did some weird stuff when he was getting frustrated in those fights too. The man was like a block of concrete but he really wasn't much of a boxer. One of the most limited heavyweights ever to hold an alphabet title. A tough plodder.
