Rewatched the fight without US commentators, yes loma was robbed (again)

GO watch your Loma run and do nothing for 6-7 rounds. Did something in 8-9-10-11 and loss the 12th. So that is 8-4 and a L to losemachenko. Go watch it again and see it that Loma did indeed lose the fight. Not robbed!

Lets go in-depth. You admitted Loma did nothing, right? He wasn't throwing much. Because he was scared and running. Teo was landing body shots and partially blocked head shots? You give a fighter rounds for doing nothing because his name is LOMA?

NO! TEO pushed him back and around the ring.So he gets those rounds.

LOMA did have some success 8to11. I'd give him that. But was brought back to reality when Teo put hands on him in the 12th and that made Loma cautious again. Bell rings.

Non biased Loma fan, who actually had him at p4p number 1. He lost. At the very, very best I could rationalize a draw for him. He played it far too overly cautious and literally, purposely gave away the first half of the fight. Then he turned on and dominated late. It was still too late. He lost and it was his own fault in this instance. It is what it is.

 

Stop watching boxing.

 

Only thing controversial about this fight is you scoring the fight for Lomachenko and screaming robbery, and that 1 atrocious scorecard. Thats it

 

I dont think he dominated loma but I do think he won clearly. Loma made a good account of himself he just started too late to pull it out.

He landed a flimsy straight left and the main commentator had an orgasm, and they just kept saying "P4P number 1" all night long

Lopez won 1-7 and 12 for sure. There’s one or two that could swing his way between 8-11 but I gave them to Loma.

 

He lands a pitty-pat left in the second or third round that does no damage and the commentator says Loma is brilliant because he spent the entire fight up to that point setting up a clean but meaningless punch. Then he spent the next 3-4 rounds setting up another, lol.

 

Loma was showing off that Ukranian dance for the first 7 rounds.

 

Lose-A-Chenko is the worse derogatory nickname I've ever seen on these boards. Right up there with Cownelo, Roid Gayweather and Manny PacRoid.

A Mere Con, or Amir Khan't are the two best

 

The only way you can score those early rounds for Loma is if you discount which man is making the fight and which one is trying to thwart the action, and most of us aren't willing to do that. People keep isolating the handful of moments when people landed/were blocked, but watch the in-between space and you have one guy -- and only one guy -- willing to engage. For Loma to have won those rounds, he'd have to have landed substantially more punches (basically every one he threw and not get hit at all) or hurt the opponent.

Neither of those things happened, so it was an easy clean sweep for me in 1-7 other than round 2.
