Good hit out for KHAN a good test knows what it's all about right there. Next time might want to be crafty against these murderous punchers.
Khan would easily win the rematch. He made the fight harder than it needed to be. He couldn't have kept outside and boxed his way to a clear UD with ease, but he didn't. He traded with a tougher stronger man and it almost cost him. But it didn't. Anyone who thinks that Khan would fight the same way again is delusional. And don't forget Khan put Maidana down. Maidana, for all those massive bombs he landed, couldn't put Khan down.
Khan was just boxing and moving to his left when he got hurt in the tenth. He got caught. It happens. He wasn't trying to get into the exchanges during that moment. His flawed footwork also was what got him in trouble at other times. Always keeping it at long distance is easier said than done against certain types of fighters. He'd have to improve his footwork and cut down on the bad habits to "easily" beat Maidana.
I thouroughly enjoyed this fight, props to both Khan and Maidana. Both were lucky at times and both showed heart, skills and courage and gave the fans a treat. Both fighters showed flaws too which is human. Re-matches in close FOTY contenders like this should be compulsory.
