Agreed.....a point if the ref felt it was intentional....which I doubt that it was. After all PAC isn't known for being a dirty fighter.
Yet a guy like Soto gets DQ'd and I watched the fight and it looked like he missed while that guy was down. And the guy turtled for a DQ.
agree with this one. a boxer is supposed to keep on attacking as long as the referee is not stopping him. IMO pac thought that the referee ain't gonna call a KD so he kept on punching. can't honestly blame him because it actually happened numerous times when a boxer stops attacking because he thought a KD is gonna get called but gets surprised because his opponent was able to get an assist from the ropes to keep himself getting floored.
That wasn't the case in Pac-JMM II. In the 3rd round of that fight, JMM held in to the ropes to avoid a knockdown. See 3:00 of this [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VaKQpJvdabY[/ame] Do you guys think that should have been ruled a knockdown given that JMM obviously put his hands on the ropes?
im glad i didnt because then we wouldnt have witnessed marquez putting an absolute boxing masterclass.
Natural instinct or not. Pac should not be deducted a point for hitting a guy who didn't know was going to be called a KD or not.
