Vitali v Sanders was highly entertaining! This, along with Brewster v Liakhovich, Vitali v Lennox and Galota v Byrd are the best heavyweight clashes of the last 10 years!

I was ringside at both Lewis and Sanders fights. Sanders was more dangerous to Vitali then Lewis at any time during the fight. Even in the 8 round, when he was almost gone, had he connected properly with one of his bombs it would change everything.

I think Vitali wanted to make sure that Sanders would never fight Wlad again.

sanders had not footwork at all, he was flat on his feet. But i agree he was very quick with that left and could hit pretty hard

Naseem Hamed, Edwin Valero, Jose Luis Ramirez, Michael Moorer (more so at LHW), Daniel Ponce De Leon, Manny Pacquiao (more so at the lower divisions), Khaosai Galaxy, are some southpaws who could really crack.

One of the best fights post-Lewis. You can also include Brewster/Lyakhovich on that list.

That's a good shout too. There hasn't been much to choose from, out of big fights, sadly. Not that I've seen anyway.

Which one would you go for, Russell? Recommend for me some big entertaining heavyweight fights post-Lennox that you think I've been negligent in seeing.

Monte Barrett vs. Owen Beck from 2005 is another entertaining heavyweight fight.

Sanders was a killing machine, and a really exciting fighter.

Corrie Sanders was called "The Sniper" for good reason.

more recently, Adamek-Arreola was a good one. my non-boxing fan friends wouldn't leave the room after catching a minute of it.

People are jumping over eachother trying to overrate Sanders. He was good
for a fringe contender. A homeless mans Bert Cooper.

And he beat Burt Cooper also!! He also stopped fighters like Levi Biilups a lot faster then Bowe and lennox did.

That short hook from Sanders that rocked Vitali was beautiful.
