I thought Hopkins looked good here and didnt really show signs of slowing as many have said maybe because Winky was so poor it made him look better then he is at this stage of his career, Did Winky train hard for this fight? He looked out of shape and another thing i noticed Winky has a granite chin and never really seemed bothered By Taylor or Trinidads power yet here he was stunned a few times by Hopkins right hands.

Hopkins through Winky off his game and proceeded to win a one-sided contest.

    118-110, Hopkins.

All the brit fans on here are fond of saying their opponents are "washed up" and way past it. Yeah, just like how Tarver was so past it and Woods was going to steamroll him.

Did you notice Hopkins staying on his feet for 12 rounds and still looking fresh as a daisy when the fight ended?

And yeah, Hopkins did buckle Winky a couple of times with the counter right because they were so flush.

I really don't understand the people who claim that this fight was close or that Hopkins was very tired at the end. For crying out loud, Lederman, who was completely biased against Hopkins, still scored it a draw. Imagine an objective person.

Winky would have stopped his ass if he actually trained for the fight. He was winning through the first half.

    That's exactly what happened.
Wright came to fight, but Hopkins took Winky's tools away (Jab, movement, momentum) andmade him fight his fight.
Exactly what you will see on Saturday except Winky did far better then Calzagne will.

I'm beginning to think this will be an easier win for Hopkins than I'd previously expected.

A comment from the Brit Forum. "Hopkin's didn't so much beat Winky but drowned him in his own fat by making him fight at 170"

Then you stand to make a lot of money. Even more then betting against Hatton and on Mayweather.
This fight will look much like Jirov-Toney, except Hopkins won't be working off the ropes. :good
Pull up the old threads for the Jirov-Toney fight and you will likely see the Jirov fans giving the exact same reasons why he would dominate Toney as Calzaghe fans are assuming for his win.

Hey bslice. I likes them kicks. How much??
