You have to have some special bias if you give the first fight to Canelo. You'd have to be looking for every possible excuse to give him rounds and ignore everything Golovkin did unless it was 110% obvious
It is evidence of Canelo inflicting more damage, which is a product of clean effective punching, high impact punching and a lack of defense, which are part of the scoring criteria.
It's pretty obvious if you look at the post-fight photos. GGG looked like he had been in a car crash 2X. Swelling above both eyes, bruising all over his face. There was very little bruising on Canelo's face in comparison. GGG clearly received more punishment.
Here's my original scorecard. Round 1 Golovkin 10-9 Round 2 Alvarez 10-9 Round 3 Golovkin 10-9 Close Round 4 Golovkin 10-9 Round 5 Golovkin 10-9 Round 6 Alvarez 10-9 Close Round 7 Golovkin 10-9 Round 8 Golovkin 10-9 Round 9 Golovkin 10-9 Round 10 Golovkin 10-9 Round 11 Alvarez 10-9 Almost Even Round 12 Alvarez 10-9 Razor Close 116-112 Golovkin 115-113 is fine as well.
I hope Canelo's team are paying you well to write such long winded nonsense. You can't be a real person, I don't believe it
