Are people ignoring just how much Floyd has slowed down? I was drunk when I saw this fight live, now watching again, he really can't do the things he was doing even 2 years ago as well anymore. He misses a lot more, he's getting caught a lot more, he's clinching a lot more. I've always predicted him to beat Pac, but I'm changing my mind. His defensive reflexes aren't what they used to be. Pac may beat him up, and it may get ugly.

When Floyd beat Canelo, I was amazed at how easy he made it look.

But when he fought Maidana, twice, I was amazed at how the first fight was close and the second was still competitive.

If you don't see a marked drop off, you're kidding yourselfl. Floyd is going to be in legit danger to lose this fight.

Pac's gonna make Floyd look like Sergio did against The Pink Diva.

He was getting his head snapped back at times from Maidanas jab. I agree about the Canelo fight too, I was so impressed at how easily he beat him. Complete opposite here.

Yes but who knows, the level of motivation ain't the same for all we know? Lets just wait for the fight and take it from there.

His 2 latest performances were concerning. Maidana, a limited fighter, gave him hell in first fight. Floyd had trouble getting away so what did he do in second fight? Grabs, holds, gropes, hugs Maidana 70 times in 12 rounds. This is quite worrisome cause the younger Floyd would've probably been quick enough to not need to resort to hugging and holding.

Motivation should've been there for the rematch though. We will see. But it's clear to anyone with unbiased eyes that his reflexes have slowed, his punching accuracy and speed have slipped a bit, and he's not nearly as fast on his feet.

I've notice, but some how people here still claim he is still prime and pac isn't. It like they're setting up if PAC loses he wasn't prime. I've seen more decline in mayweather then I have Pacquiao. Pacquiao alto he isn't as high output as he once was, he still has his speed and movement. Mayweather has slowed a step and his reflexs seem to have faded a bit. He's getting caught with shots he wouldn't have before, he stays in the pocket more then he used to and likes the ropes far too much.

I've always picked mayweather to win and still do. This makes for a more action packed fight, mayweather will be forced to dig deep and fight to win. I don't see a one sided win as I did 2-3 years ago.

He's slowed. But I've never seen a fighter give Floyd as little respect as Maidana gave him. He just manhandled him in there and wasn't bothered by Floyd's punches which at least can keep opponents honest. He's slowed, but Maidana's awkward style and lack of respect was effective regardless.

Not really. Manny is done. No hunger, not the same fire in his style any more. Both are past it and they let the fight lose a lot of its luster. Pac's fights used to be incredible. His relentlessness and willingness to go for KO were amazing. He hasn't been the same since for a while.

So does Wladimir Klitschko, and that's who Floyd fights like nowadays. Single shots and about 10 clinches per round.
