Agree with that.... i remeber ahead of the last fight he was saying he was only 3 fights away from being world champion etc.and that he could beat pacman...that for me was it that swung it for me.there is talking yourself up (which all boxers do) but there is the level of arrogance that he has shown.

 

the funny thing is that before his fight against presscot, he came out like a cocky ****er and said he is going to be untouchable in a couple of fights.

 

No, no, no, it wasn't a proper knockdown, nor was he hurt at all. The correct terminology for it is "He had his movement checked".

It's so unfair the way the haters exaggerate what happened that night. "Wobbled" and "Knocked down" are such unkind words to use. Let's all be nice for a change.......

 

Just watched it again. Khan throws a long left to the body, drops his right and gets cuffed with a left hook. He staggers back and Prescott dumps him with a monster right & left bang on the money. I didn't see any wild swinging. Au contraire, it was a thing of beauty.

That jab looked like it caught Khan mid-stride. It certainly knocked his head back but I don't think it hurt him. *ducks and awaits flaming*

 

Theres no way to tell what would happen if other fighters would survive those shots but its a bit unfair to put other fighters chin in the same league as Khans. Khan has been proved to have a china chin by much lighter punchers and smaller men than Prescott. In fact that was the first time Khan fought someone his own size.

If this was heavyweight then fair enough most fighters would go down with a punch from a big fella but at lightweight? I dont see it.

There are lightweights that will take Prescott's punches, Khan's got a china chin.

It's like watching some of Cintron's knockouts and thinking 'who, nobody could take those shots' and then seeing Margarito eat them for fun.

 

They were reasonably hard shots, but khan did crumble like his mums finest china

 

Presscot nailed abril (the cuban kid who beat presscott) with atleast 10 left hooks and some decent right hands to the body in there fight and abril didnt even blink, it just tells u how far khan will make it in the game, a fighter like abril who has better fudementals then khan and beat presscott isnt even ranked in the top 100 and he'll probrably never be given an opertunity to make a name for himself tells u the sad state of boxing
