    did u watch the fight?
the ESPN crew thought it was robbery and a ring side observer had presscot loosing most of the rounds.

Nice point but then Margarito was made in a Cyberdyne Systems factory.
I agree. I watched all 54 seconds again and Khan was all over the shop from the get go. The only shot he took was when they touched gloves.

    1. Prescott isn't a proven banger but he does look like a monumental 1, those shots looked huge
    2. A Tall Tommy Hearns Esque banger is a bad style match up, Prescott is a monster LW
    3. Khan needs to improve his defense and his ring smarts. Khan was far far far too easy to hit, usually his handspeed/reach/strength movement gets him out of trouble
    4. He wasnt wobbled by that first jab imo, he was wobbled by a long hook though and it was a big shot
    5. A puncher can KO many fighters at any time if they land flush
    6. Khan is chinny, partly due to an open wide defense partly because hes young, only 21, and hasnt developed his man strength yet
    7. KHAN IS MONUMENTALLY PHYSICALLY TALENTED AND CAN BE A WORLD CHAMP WITH THE RIGHT IMPROVEMENTS AND RIGHT MATCH MAKING.
    8. I wonder if part of the hate is racial bias against pakistanis (and I've read allot of racial comments on youtube), jealousy or just people with **** all to do. Khan is a cocky young lad, but boxers are meant to be cocky/confident. He seems likable enough to me none the less.

well i agree with the consensus on here that khan's chin is china but to add to that he's defence is poor particularily when he's unloading, which was his downfall against prescott.however i think the quality of prescotts bombs is being underestimated, some have even described them as wild hooks,i can't for the life of me understand people saying that.prescott has to be applauded,he saw his oppurtunities and took advantage, his feet were planted and his punches were very correct, there was nothing wild about what he did in there,he had the demenour of the cold assassin.sure other lightweights might have taken prescotts shots and others will no doubt do so but did they or will they offer their chins on a platter as khan did? i would suggest that no matter how good or bad prescott is if you're going to stick your chin in the air with this kid,he'll put your lights out.

agree mostly with you here. In the build up to the fight you could tell that prescott really wanted this. He states himself that he trained for 3 months and analysed alot of tape on khan. He seems to be smarter than most people give him credit for. Ill admit that khans punch resistance made prescott look like the second coming of jackson but whats more fascinating is the technique prescott employed. In the slow motion replays you can see that prescott always has his feet planted and sees khans shots coming. Its not like he was throwing wild hooks. I remember in the first knockdown that precott slipped a khan jab after getting clocked with one earlier and then came with full power from the waist on a left hook. I think anyone with a really stiff jab and lateral movement could beat prescott though as it seems that he needs to plant his feet to get real power into them.

Doesn't need a great chin, with good defense and his phenomenal hand speed, can be a world champ.
