Rewatching Maskaev vs Peter

Maskaev wanted out of that fight. Instead of complaining, he should have hit him back.

Wlad never bitched about the "blowjobs" against Peter in their fight. Instead, he complained with his fists and smashed Peter's face for 12 rounds. Oleg wanted none of Peter.

True, Maskaev should have always remembered to protect himself at all times, and not complain.

But, honestly folks, it's sad that a ref can't see the back of the head shots and do his job correctly as a ref. Everyone on this planet knows about Peter's rabbit shots, except that ref? Refs need to get after Peter for that amateur crap. I haven't seen a fighter hit so often on the back of the head since Chuck Wepner.

 

This aint the movies boy. Vitali is going to beat down Peter.

The constant complaining about the back of the head shots, if you dont want to get hit there, dont put your down around your oppenents waist, problem solved. Even Manny came to Peter's rescue saying theres nothing wrong with Peter's punches in that fight, and also in the Wlad fight as well.

 

watch the yanqui diaz fight(should be up on youtube)..peter is horrible with blows the back of the head in that fight.....

 

I seen it, and he had points taken off accordingly, just like in the Toney fight, but Peter is no different than many other fighters who use questionable tactics to help get them the win, I dont see anything wrong with it.

 

Maskaev did hurt Peter a couple of times and I was surprised he took all those shots without going down at the end. I think without the long layoff all the melee before the fight regarding the officials and a little fairer refereeing he could have beaten Peter. I hope Vitali KOs Peters fat ass.:-D
