I agree Poly, i enjoyed the fight and how Pac, although not in with an opponent who would push him or make an exciting fight, did all HE COULD DO to push HIMSELF to the limit and always kept trying to make things happen and make it exciting.

But Clottey is no Winky, it was nice to see that style defeated lol... as i get fustrated sometimes watching a winky fight and seeing such a simple thing be so effective lol...

clottey was sold to the viewer as a viable opponet with a good chance to win. In retrospective clottey is not Elite; he's just an opponet. Clottey didnt deserve to be in the same ring as Pac-man anybody in that caliber. It was a waste of a boxing bout, one-sided affair in favor of pac. It wasn't boring like a Froch-Dirrell marathon run. Just a mismatch the boxing fan including myslef is left with 50 less dollars in the pocket.

I didn't like it too much, but maybe I will watching again. I have the same opinion as Klion. I like both fighters. I like Clottey and I KNOW he's a good fighter, he has good technique, a lot of snap on his punches, is strong, but he's too damn inactive, and it was painful to watch him sometimes snap Pac's head back and be effective, then turtle up.

Maybe he was being bothered by the body punches? Possible, even if not hurt he knew if he opened up he could be KO'd. Was he effective the few times he was because Pac felt he wasn't in trouble? Possible. BUt still, not a good enoug effort. But I'm not judging him in a harsh way, I'm not there in the ring. Unlike Kevin Johnson who acted like he had was winning vs Vitali.

It wasn't Pac's great fight but oh well, it was decent. I rewatched the fight last night and was impressed with Pac's performance, thought Clottey did a good job but still fell short last two rounds. Clottey ripped Pac with some serious uppercuts, but Clottey just couldn't get much done. I don't agree that Clottey was tailor made. I think the fact that the styles didn't jive is what's pissing people off..

It was no less interesting than Mayweather v Marquez, that's for sure.
