Most slept Quintana because of Cotto. Yet in PR gyms? CQ was the favorite beforehand and part of what inspired Miguel to demolish him.

Myself, Amsterdam, and one other(cant remember who, sorry) where the only 3 on ESB that took CQ over Williams and his ABILITY was there. He didnt go to the olympics because of broken elbows but his background and talent were deep.

Quintana will beat PW again and if he fights a guy like Margarito after that? He'll have put himself in position to fight the PBF vs Cotto winner.
Though honestly? I'm not sure CQ wants that rematch with Cotto. He saw the animal in Cotto and found out that he's not befuddled by skill and speed. I hope for his sake he one day does get the rematch. He has the tools but needs to approach it differently against Cotto. I think he'd feel better about himself in the long run, even if he lost a decision.
Erasing the devastation of that night would be letting a big bag of bricks off his back.

Im not a fan of Margo due to his crude fighting style but in a rematch i would put my money on AM. I believe PW just won too many early rounds and AM would be stupid to let him do that again.

I like Williams too but he can be out boxed and Quintana has the skills to do it, as he did. I'm not dissing Paul, just speaking an honest opinion.

Williams isnt done even if he loses again. There's plenty of WW's he can beat and eventually he'll move up and can perhaps secure a legacy at 54 maybe?

Hey man i was one of those few that felt CQ was gonna pull he upset.
I took so much **** because of that huge wave of PW fans. I remember the week before the fight all the threads that were going on and it seemed like i was almost alone in there. The next day was great for bragging rights though.
I also made a **** ton of Vcash that night.

He beat the great Antonio Margarito!!! Ha im serious. He stole Margos hype and since people were talking about Margo facing either Cotto or Mayweather then they thought PW should now take his spot.

PW is a good fighter but not good enough in this division.
I think Cintron would have raped him. Too bad it did not happen. If CQ and AM landed on PW then Cintron would have too and he has plenty of power to hurt Williams.

I'm not too sure about Quintana having suspect stamina. Remember the Joel Julio fight? That fight was in 120 degrees outside in the sun, it was so hot out there one could DIE just watching it. He went 12 rounds comfortably. I think what got him tired in the PW fight was that it was very physical, he was very outsized by williams and he had to do a lot of movement and a lot of physical pushing around. And as far as the Cotto fight well, when you get hit with a left hook like he ate against Cotto anyone would be short of breath too lol :nut

Well Saul? My apolgies. Yet? In the multiple prediction threads on this forum? There were only 3 that picked CQ. Perhaps you should try and enter them, though its hard in a couple because if you arent in every week, you're way 2 far behind to catch up. However Kirk's ESB Champ is a more relaxed pace and allows you to pic you're fights and winning % is relevant. Give it a shot:good

BTW? The real cash was stupendous:good

if both floyd and cotto said what you just typed, then that would be called avoiding/ducking. so thanks for proving my point.

Yeah, I thought Quintana looked good and beat Williams clearly. People did indeed sell Carlos short because of how Cotto beat him, but he's just way too strong for him. Williams is not

Its not so much strength as power:yep Cq fought at 54 previously he can hold his own which helped him to handle Williams.

Cotto showed something special that evening, broke my heart, Cq's body, and cost me $$$$$ and lost an avatar bet:-( :-(

no, you just said that cotto and floyd avoided Williams, how do you know that? Did williams ever called them out? You got absolutly no proof that they avoided Williams

yet PW still managed to win 4 rounds on 2 scorecards and 5 on another. Quintana's conditioning did not impress.

What is this Kirks ESB champ??? how do i get to it?? I see alot of "spam" posters on here and would like to find a place to make good posts.

Anyways how good was the real cash. what odds and how much are we talking about betting??
I was so close to betting on this fight. I have never bet online and dont know really how to go about it. Im a college student who after every prediction i make i regret not betting. I dont have much to bet $200 tops during the school year. More during summer.

I would love some info on betting. I have been doing this thing on my own where i predict a winner and test to see if i would be winning or losing.
I would be up quite a bit.
