Round 3 is one i now find hard to give to Maidana on the second viewing, and 11 isnt a certain Maidana rd either, will watch them a few more times though.
I gave Maidana three clear rounds. 3, 6, and 10 (10-8). One round was a bit of a tossup, and I gave it to Maidana to offset the BS point deduction.
You know what ? you are right actually I just rewatched it Round 1: Amir Khan 10-8 Round 2: Amir Khan 10-9 Round 3: Marcos Maidana 10-9 Round 4: Amir Khan 10-9 Round 5: Amir Khan 10-8 Round 6: Marcos Maidana 10-9 Round 7: Marcos Maidana 10-9 Round 8: Amir Khan 10-9 Round 9: Amir Khan 10-9 Round 10: Marcos Maidana 10-8 Round 11: Marcos Maidana 10-9 Round 12: Marcos Maidana 10-9 113-112 Khan One judge got it bang on whoever that Judge is, is a very very good judge.
Everytime, someone says this...tells me all I need to know about them and if they are real Boxing Fans!!!
Of course I am a real boxing fan I don't stay up all night to watch fights at 5am for nothing And i didn't broadcast a classic boxing channel on jtv for 2 years for nothing
He no doubt did better than the previous round! Anyway, I'm sure some people struggle to give rounds to a guy who is constantly holding and looking up at the clock!
+1 Khan won it clearly. After watching it twice I've come to the same conclusion; while Maidana picked up the pace pretty late, he was pretty deep in the hole. His body language at the end of the fight was that of loser. While he may have felt he was finally getting to him and he would have stopped him if he had another round or 2; he knew that he didn't win. His lottery ticket from the 10th round needed to be cashed in before the end of the 12th round. Unfortunately, it expired when the final bell rang.
