    12-3 if he’s lucky
Possibly as low as 7-8 but I don’t see that happening. In these “fantasy” matchups I’m figuring take the best Layne available. Same guy that can out point Walcott and KO Williams conqueror Satterfield can surely beat the majority of this list

He might have a career trajectory not unlike them, but for different reasons.

I could see him picking up a strap, then burning out quickly, and ending up as a stepping stone on the resumes of other contenders.

Pretty much this. Depends on alot of factors, like the condition at which his opponents show up

I agree, though I'm afraid I will be accused of being agenda driven.

If we're matching the best Layne against these men - shouldn't they also be allowed to be at their best?

Layne was more consistent than 90% of em, feel like that would be a good advantage in a realistic situation.

Individually, I would bet against him in every single match-up.

Collectively, he might pull an upset.

I could see him being comparable to a renaldo snipes or to a lesser extent Quick Tillis. He establishes himself as a contender but doesn’t stay there long

    Layne's record is 50-25-4
Which means he lost a third of his fights,or he won less than a 2 thirds since he also had 4 draws.

Lmao only brought him up because you decided to insult Layne on a Walcott thread because you are biased like you stated earlier. I’m also very disappointed that you would think Layne would lose to all these nobodies (exception of Spinks Ruddock Tucker Cooney and Douglas and evening then some are questionable). Do you despise Marciano so much that you must put down everyone he met? How many ranked wins do most of these men have? I’m not doing the math here but I’m pretty certain Layne has more wins then most of these guys. None of these guys are as good as Walcott was when he beat him.
