Watched most of his fights, always liked him. I heard he and his trainer had a falling out and he hasn't been doing so hot recently. Not sure wtf he was thinking not continuing in the pro ranks. He was getting hot in HK before randomly stopping.. He was one of the most exciting fighters to watch, bar none.
Going life and death with an ancient Kono and needing to be bailed out by the doctor/payed off judges probably impacted his decision.
Yeah no disrespect. Im a big fan. But let's be honest if you've got a real future you shouldn't be losing to (that version) of him which in a fair world Tso would have. So that was a vet who while past his prime still game enough to expose a pretender like Tso - who for where Kono was at in his career would have been a very solid scalp.
