http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xvurlb_2012-12-11-rex-tso-vs-timur-shailezov_sport#.UMl-Y4NORek Give this a watch fellas. Interested to hear some opinions. Bit of background: he is basically Hong Kong's only pro boxer and co headlined the Hatton Hong Kong this week. He is getting quite a bit of attention here and there were a few Canto-celebs there, as well as getting 'rapped' to the ring by a HK Hip Hop group! No arseholes please :good
Been following Rex since he turn over to the pros. I think that this was a great learning fight but I believe he has a lot more to offer. Good win against a game opponent. Hopefully he keeps developing at a rapid rate. To be critical, I think he took a few too many but I get the impression that he wanted to entertain in his hometown and was willing to brawl. Looking forward to his next bout
i seen his fight clips he is managed well put against guys he should beat. Poor defence i think he will be in trouble if he fights a decent rated Filipino or Thai
Random bump. He's back out in May against a Thai, albeit not a top one: Wandee Singwancha http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=8099&cat=boxer
Looks like a decent scrap. This guy is a former WBC champion at minimum weight, but only stands at 5 2". Rex has got to be 5 7"
I go to his gym...hes a nice guy and has some fight. he probably could be better if he could get some decent sparring over here but from what i understand he does most of his training in Manilla where he gets some work in.
