Round 1 De La Hoya 10-9, close

Nothing round, fairly close, neither man established a jab, found their range or let their hands go.

Round 1 De La Hoya 10-9, close
    Round 2 Rios 10-9, close

Straight right hurts Diego, Rios follows up with several more, both men trading, doing nice body work, Rios with some crisp hooks up top, Diego firing back with bombs as well. Rios stunned him again late. Diego's face is bleeding.

Diego boxing well from the outside and was winning the round until the very end, where Rios came back and nailed him with some massive left hooks late, rocking Diego, sending blood spraying from his nose.
