    Are there any refs who actually do deduct points for excessive clinching? Asking for someone who wants one to referee the rest of Vargas' matches.

    At the risk of stereotyping, I've noticed that Japanese fighters tend to be much more willing to admit defeat and respect the judge's decisions (at least publicly) than any one else I've seen.

    Excessive clinching, running and low blows should definitely be penalized.

    Those scorecards are horrible. They had to give every single close-ish round to Vargas to only have 3 for Kameda.

    It's disappointing, but about what I expected.
