Ben Smith vs. Tat Romero: [yt]pzRvn7Gu-hg[/yt] Bojan Veličković vs. Charles Byrd: [yt]ujkcPWm-L70[/yt]
Neither is exactly the next GSP (and both would get smoked by many rated contenders from many a superior org to "Resurrection Fighting Alliance" - let alone the likes of Lawler or Condit) but they should put on a good show and seem pretty evenly matched on paper. Both have losses to UFC (well, TUF anyway) veteran Gilbert Smith - Ben Smith by submission and Veličković by majority decision. This is telling of their mutual level, not quite ready for the big leagues. Gilbert Smith in his biggest step up lost via armbar to Bubba McDaniel, a longtime UFC & Bellator middleweight contender. This is Ben Smith's first defense of the RFA welterweight title.
I can't even tell who is who. Both are white dudes with similar beards and goofy hair (one an unraveled man-buns and the other dreads, but same color) and both have white trunks on. :err (give or take a little blue)
What do you think about that rule IB? Not being able to knee or kick your opponent in the head if they have a hand on the ground, a 'grounded' opponent. Personally I'm not the biggest fan.
