Rgardless of the decision, let's be honest about this.

Compare footage of his fight with mummy Margarito and somebody like Barrera back in 2003 or Marquez the following year. Pacquiao's clearly a declined athlete. His footspeed, handspeed, and explosiveness is a fraction of what it used to be. The guy is 33 years old, has fought over 60 times as a professional, and has been in a fair share of difficult fights (including some real wars) for over a decade. This can't be ignored.

Saying Pacquiao hasn't lost a step is as absurd as saying Mayweather hasn't lost a step. It's clear as day to see.

 

I believe Pacman simply lost the fire.

I already suspected this when start doing Bible study. And my suspicion seems correct.

Politics took out his focus, and now he'd gone softer because of his new found faith.

He should retire.

I agree , his speed / explosiveness is gone. With that his style is pretty much gone.

Pacquiao was pure speed and explosiveness. Think Mike Tyson and Roy Jones. It doesn't age well. Time for him to retire.

 

Even comparing mitt-work from 2008-2009 to now, you can tell how much he's declined. I thought he'd still have enough to beat Bradley really badly, and although I had him winning the fight, he looked as bad as I've ever seen him. Fought in spurts, had poor stamina, didn't have the bounce in his step from the opening bell, and even his combinations and bursts of activity looked nothing like the Pacquiao of old.

It probably just comes down to distractions. Plus Bradley was giving pac a lot of back and forth movement. Pac hasn't had to worry about that for years.
