According to Rhodes his next fight is for the WBC International title on November 15th which will ensure he gets a top 10 WBC ranking. :happy

    Not more inter-alphabetty nonsense!

That said, it is probably the easiest route to a world title for Rhodes. The British title doesn't really carry too much cache with the bodies I'm afraid, whilst the European has been tied up by Jamie Moore for what feels like a lifetime. Shame because the EBU carries a bit in the eyes of Don Sulaiman.

The Commonwealth belt is meaningless - so interalphabetty is the way to go.

The world scene at 154 is pretty lousy at present, I wouldn't bet against Rhodes winning something - though he does have to stick to southpaw and be busier in the middle of the rounds.

    His opponent.

Pretty pointless going after Forrest's belt.

Maybe they see it as an advantage going against Forrest now, due to his age.

Not seen enough of Forrest to know whether Rhodes would be able to win.

Where is RR ranked with the IBF & WBA?

I don't know but i feel IBF would be the easiest route, with the champion being Verno Phillips.

Is Phillips fighting Duddy, or is that off now?

Yep. Good fight for Rhodes and it should put him in a good position for a title crack. Non of the 154 guys are great but all can still be impressive. Verno is decent still and probably the best of the lot, Alcine should be back soon too, disapointed with how it went for him.

I hope Hayemaker get him a title shot if he comes through the next fight and hopefully they stage it in Sheff, I will book my tickets early next time.

But he recently schooled Mora, and showed that even at his age he's still got a lot left in the tank ans is still in my opinion the man to beat at 154. If Rhodes takes 9 to get rid of Woolcombe and can't take out Coyle I don't what chance he has against a world-class operator like Forrest.

Forrest destroys Rhodes. Rhodes should be pushing for the Jamie Moore fight.

the WBC int champ is currently vincent vuma (aka who bradley pryce was gonna fight in vegas is he had a passport)

Pryce wasnt due to fight Vuma in vegas, he was due to fight an old american witha mexican name.

Last I heard Vuma had turned down a double offer from rhodes to fight in London on the 15th November, it may still happen and if not Rhodes will be looking at getting the South African stripped of the WBC international with that being on the line on 15th Nov.

WHy would jamie Moore want to fight Rhodes exactly?

Rhodes turned down an offwer to fight Bradkley Pryce, instead he went for Coyle.

Forrest batters him on that performance last weekend. Terrible.

Moore vs Rhodes would be a cracking contest IMO

Looks like a winnable fight. A protected African.

He won't beat Forrest though, no way. Forrest looked good again against Mora, he's got plenty left in the tank when he trains well and is motivated.
