Well it is dangerous, Rhodes hits alot harder than Matthew Hatton and I think is overall better. Canelo looked way to open against Hatton.

    STFU *******.
Trust me,this Canelo is the real deal and can fight. He has gotten over his stage fright with Hatton-so look out, especialy in Mexico!:good
Rhodes will be a real test but will fall short.

GBP had previously said they had plenty of other options despite the order from the WBC. Good news for Rhodes

Great news for Rhodes . From what i've seen of Alvarez against the brothers of better fighters he looks easy to hit and slow as molasses . This could well be a case of a promoter making a mistake with a prospect and instead of getting an aging name with a good record their getting a live hungry fighter .

Its about time Rhodes got his chance and a well deserved one too, this hard hitting Slickster could just be too much for Canelo

Rhodes can win this, but he's got to stop the kid.

His inactivity is really going to harm him though IMO. Let's not forget he was a 'title challenger' back in the day at 160, and has looked a better fighter since his resurgance.

Are they gonna' **** him over on the weight though? A major worry these days.

i really fancy rhodes in this. out of all the "underdog" fighter who have gone over in recent years ( lockett , jennings , hatton) i feel ryan definately has the best chance to pull off an upset!

I dont fancy Rhodes at all , Alvarez is a better conditioned better schooled fighter than Rhodes , he is younger , stronger and has been way more active , IMO he will be much fresher than Rhodes .

Im struggling to agree with the consensus here !!
