Man, the media and UFC have a real bad habit of over-hyping their fighters, but I guess its flattering they continue to compare them to boxers, although insulting if you're a boxing fan. I'm seeing more and more of this BS talk about Conner being the next Mayweather. I give him 3 fights max before he gets KO'd or beaten. The Rhonda hype ended badly and think the UFC would have learned, being embarrassed by the hype train derailing so quickly on them. But how fast they cling to the next "superstar" and begin the rebuild and desperately overhype this 19-2 fighter comparing to Floyd? Come on. Its getting truly pathetic.
Not sure why this would be moved from the boxing section, it fits either criteria but considering this is obviously coming from a boxing fan should be in the boxing section.
Maybe because it's about a **** "sport" that is grossly inferior to boxing, yet is always trying to ride on its coattails?:hey No, this **** is right where it belongs, in the ****per!.:deal
I never understood the McGregor and Mayweather comparisons, I think only MMA fans know watch Conor McGregor, non MMA fans don't know him.
People are quick to make links. Dana talking about Connor's better than Ali at trash talking. Come back to me when Connor says something like this: “I’ve wrestled with alligators, I’ve tussled with a whale. I done handcuffed lightning And thrown thunder in jail. You know I’m bad. just last week, I murdered a rock, Injured a stone, Hospitalized a brick. I’m so mean, I make medicine sick.”
