I think the great Lopez would have taken this fight eighter by late knockout or UD in a very good fight...what's your take?
Lopez by KO. Calderon wouldn't stand much of a chance against Ricardo's better offensive arsenal IMO... but just wait till the Puerto Ricans rade this thread and start talking their ****. They'll find some way to make this fight competitive.
Well, First of all, this opinion is coming from a Puerto Rican and Calderon's die hard fan. I think Ricardo Lopez would have beaten Calderon. Probably a late KO. Everybody knows Finito was a great champion. But to say that Calderon has a weak chin is just plain stupid. The man has been down only two times in his career. One at the very beginning and one against Cazares who is really a BIG 112lbs. Calderon doesn't even belong to 108lbs. But nobody wanted to fight him at 105lbs. What Calderon does is amazing!! I mean, the guy is 5'0". That's borderline midget!!! Finito was 5'5", so is Cazares. Finito is a legend. But that doesn't take anything away from Ivan Calderon. 17 world title fight in line. Champion since 2003. The guy has had a good career. Nobody can take that away from him
Finito wins but like i said before Finito is masive overrated and i would not surprised if both was fighting at the same time, Calderon outbox this guy. Great for the past always destroy greats for the presents, thats the opinion is ESB. Finito was great but Calderon is not a easy fight even for a big guy like finito was.
