the legendary finito, undefeated, ruled the lower weights during his time vs the current kingpin chocolatito..who's ur pick? both great counter punchers, cholatito has the edge in power though but finito's defense was magic.. who wins?

Finito because he would weight drain Chocolate, he doesn't have the ***** to move up even 1lb

Ricardo by late round stoppage after having his way with Gonzales for the first 8-10 rounds. Lopez was superior in every way. Probably even in the power department. He had uncanny accuracy.

Agree with everything in the last post.

Right now it's Lopez but let's see how Chocolatito's career develops.

Just to play Devil's advocate, I don't see Chocolacito faring much worse than another Nicaraguan, Rosendo Alvarez, did against Finito. He's probably a more complete fighter than El Bufalo was, even in the latter's prime.

I would pick Gonzalez to beat Lopez. Right now. Lopez is good enough that I could be wrong, but I don't see a class gap, and Gonzalez is far more rounded.

Roman has gotten better since his 105 days, honestly. He had at least two highly shaky performances at 105-108 where Ricardo never looked that vulnerable in his entire career. I'd pick a prime Ricardo confidently and would still pick a faded, near retirement Ricardo as well. Both among the best sub-bantams... ever?

What a fight that would have been. I'd probably pick Lopez by decision but wouldn't count out Gonzalez. Both are kings of the smallish weight division. :yep

At 105 ? Lopez all the way.
At 112 things might change a bit. I am of course comparing the Gonzales who fought at 105 to the P4P star we see now.
