The problem I have with your post, Anarci, is that your basing your opinions off footage alone. It's not your fault, I said the same thing to ElPerro, Lopez's resume is so lackluster for a so-called all-time great it's almost impossible to use his statistics and resume to make postitive assertions about the man's career. To say Alvarez was on the same level of Carbajal is ridiculous. Michael fought 10 world champions during his reign at Light Flyweight, whereas Alvarez fought three, losing twice. Carbajal unified the division when there were other good-great fighters alongside him. It separates him from the likes of Alvarez, who made 3 defenses of his title before being stopped by Arce, a man Carbajal stopped when he himself was way past his best. Regarding the Gonzalez fights, Carbajal was outboxed because Humberto was running. Literally. The great Mexican warrior, Chiquita, was running away. What does that tell you? First of all, I can safely assume that Carbajal was not preparing for a runner during his preparation, and it was a closely fought rematch regardless. He ran because he tasted Carbajal's power and didn't want any of it again. Would Lopez be running? Probably not, he'll be right in the pocket throwing beautiful straight combination's. He'd be there to hit back, and whether or not Lopez can move up and face one of the hardest punching Light Flyweights ever and come out on top would be interesting
