Risky post to see the potential of Collazo vs such great like Lopez especially with how this is placed at the classic one,but yeah, Collazo had a lot of momentum behind him right now and if he probably goes undisputed,he might arguably be better than Finito, with that said, who wins in a matchup between em?
Finito schools him. Ricardo was a great technician in the ring, he would capitalize on every mistake Collazo would make with hard counter punches. Lopez UD
I do think that beating Lopez is less difficult than many here - but this is a good fight for Lopez. To beat him I think you have to find a cheap way in and then stay there, or at least stay there more often than not and the work you do there needs to be of a volume. Oscar prefers a mid-range, which is also OK but he is looking to land very big shots when he gets there. He also does not look like a genius or have the breadth of attack that would protect him on the way in. Would be fun but Lopez should very much win this.
Oscar Collazo has had a total of 11 fights compared to Ricardo Lopez's 52 fights. It's pretty obvious who should be favored here based on longevity and skills. Let's wait and see how Collazo's career unfolds first. He's a good fighter but haven't seen enough of him to show that he's anywhere close to being as good as Finito.
Lopez never lost a fight as an amatuer or a pro. How many others make that claim? As for this bout--like Mickey Duff used to say--why pick the loser when you can pick the winner?
