Hmmm... well I don't listen to those people myself man. I enjoy most, if not all, combat sports for the most part. It does suck that MMA is becoming so popular now that local establishments around town are starting to pick up the UFC PPV's and not boxing PPV's, but nothing will ever steer me away from not only supporting my # 1 love, in boxing, but continuing to love it and talk and learn about it with my fellow peeps. I have to give props to anyone that steps into a ring/octagon and no matter how much drama there is, I'll be watching attentively.
that being said im glad belfort won his return, and i am looking forward to brock vs shane... i just read up on it instead of contributing any money towards it
I dont boycott it because i dont like it personally, i was into mma before half these ******s that flaunt it were... and probably know more. I boycott it out of principle (however dumb it may be) I give them props too.... I just refuse to be one to add to its success while they are obviously competing with boxing for attention... i tried having that attitude before, and was suprised at the attitudes of mma fans that ive been around, so **** it.
..and with THAT said, I never pay to watch any of the UFC events either. lol I paid to watch Mayweather over the weekend, but just DL'd the UFC event. It as AWESOME too. Belfort is going to be a great matchup against Silva, to be sure... I too have watched MMA since it's original 'inception' with the UFC and then Pride back in the 90's. Big fan, always will be.
I'm sure he will if he lands on'em. but as wild as Mayorga throws he'll leave himself open for a take down. I think Mayorga on the ground would be like a fish outta water. he did sign with some new MMA outfit (SHINE) I don't know who is under their banner.
